| not the biggest, but fun. went out this morning for a couple of hours and tried the method feeder for the first time. Was quite a good start but found i was getting loads of roach knocking on sweet corn so switched to luncheon meat and got 4 carp. Not the biggest but fun on lightish gear. 2 were around 2-3 lb mark 1 was 5lb and the biggest was 7lb. last half hour i chucked a float out with single sweetcorn on and got about 10 roach and rudd. was a fun way to end a peaceful morning by the bank. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Re: not the biggest, but fun. i used a combo of halibut method mix groundbait, in that i had a good dose of hemp, corn, wheat and used the water from boiling the hemp and juices from the tinned sweetcorn to mix it with. The fish were attacking it as soon as it hit the water. i lost 3 good fish too. can't wait to get out there again. |
