| Re: My Results at my Local Canal I posted a message to you before I read this , sorry about that. Bream on canals will turn up if you are fishing close to if not on the bottom. They like sweet stuff so add some sugar to you groundbait (don't go too mad but a handful or two in about one KG should do it. | Re: My Results at my Local Canal Well, not necessarily but the bigger baits like corn do weedle out the better stamp of fish, bream also love worm and casters so may be worh giving it a go. Bigger baits also dissuade the smaller fish from chomping on your hook bait which gives the sower bream more of a chance of getting to your hookbait. __________________ Glory glory Bolton Wanderers! |

| Re: My Results at my Local Canal only use maggot on my canal with finely balanced tackle and caught nearly every species it holds -roach,bream,perch,eel,ruffe not had ant tench yet but i herd from an old guy they had moved on years ago and no one catches them anymore .tight lines __________________ give a man a fish and feed him for a day ,teach a man to fish and he will be gone for a week fishing is a discipline in the equality of men ,for all men are equal in the eyes of a fish |
