| Sunday messing around on the Staff Worcester. After yesterday I just wanted to catch some fish so went to the Staffs Worcester at Caunsall. Used maggot only and pole fished. Caught a few dozen stripeys , a couple of roach and suprisingly few gudgeon . Still it was better than a slap across the face with a wet gas bill. This stretch does contain tench but that was not the goal today. Stayed till I couldn't see the float and left. An OK session. __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk |

| Nice way to spend a day mate. Did the same thing myself yesterday on the Kennet & Avon canal... __________________ Don't Judge My Path If You Haven't Walked My Journey... |

| Re: Sunday messing around on the Staff Worcester. Well done BB. Proof that you don't always need to have a master plan; sometimes you can just go out fishing and still enjoy yourself. ![]() __________________ Right then, checklist: Rods. Check. Reels. Check. | Re: Sunday messing around on the Staff Worcester. When I was working in Bath I had many a happy days fishing on the K and A. I still reckon canals are a good bet for a few fish these days as they don't seem to have been decimated like the rivers. It is great just to catch sometimes. __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk |
