hi rob,no not charlies this time,

we chose a lake with plenty of tree cover for the shade,

my god that was hot,we were shaded all day under the canopy of trees but still we cooked,
i ended up with 4 tench and a large roach,my mate had a load of bream and a couple of tench,

not bad in the circumsizes

At least you didn't blank mate! It has been uncomfortably hot so it's no surprise the fish are as lethargic as we are. Must have a sesh soon mate. By the way I've joined my old club (the one with North Lake) to get myself motivated to do some fishing again
