| alderwood tomoz! fishing this nice little pond just outside of steyning (just outside or worthing) pretty run of the mill comercial only about 2 1/2 acres! pretty easy but the lake holds a few surprises! the biggest carp in ther runs to 40lb, they got tench in ther that go 10lb and the silver fish ar just mutants! the average being 1.1/2 lb roach tho my mates had one at 3lb, and the perch hit 5lb! aiming for a few tench but bonus carps will be far from unwelcome! leadcore safety rigs the order of the day, fished slack and bolt style! one to the island in the centre, one under my feet (ignore the margins at your perile) baits? prawn, sweetcorn, 8mm halibut pellet, presented on 3in braid to size 12 hair! and golfball sized pva containing all the above but with 2mm pellet , stick mix and breadcrumb, lashings of halibut oil! sounds alright dont it! __________________ SCUPPER A COMMERCIAL TOOOO DAY!     |

| Re: alderwood tomoz! cheers lads! the carp alas evaded me! i read a report they were spawning last week and had hopped that had stopped as the previous session was stacked with high doubles largest being my first true leather at 25lb but nope they were still at it! cracking day tho, put away the alarms at about midday (arfter a roach had taken 3, 8mm pellets topped off with a pop up sweetcorn on a size 8 hair!) and got the light gear out and had a cracking arfternoon playing with thes monster roach, lost count, nothing under 12oz and the biggest being 2lb 4oz! had one or 2 tench at about 3-4lb and a cracking perch at 2lb 8oz. roach came to single 8mm halibut pellet glued to the shank of a 14 hook, and the perch and tench went to whole prawn fished on a 12. great fun! if your a roach man try and fish this place! right off for a shower think i burnt my legs. __________________ SCUPPER A COMMERCIAL TOOOO DAY! |

| Re: alderwood tomoz! yeah can do, just as soon as ive worked out how to get them from I-phone onto comp and then onto here! should be ok with the first bit its just that re-sizing thing that duz my head in! thats a huge roach in anybodys book but they go bigger! nobody realy fishes for them and spose they had a body buiders diet with all the gear the carpers chuck in! big stocky things with big old bellys and wide heads! spoke to match man up ther, (his first time) and he couldnt beleive the size of the silver he was pulling out and broke 2 of his pb,s that arfternoon! anybody that fishes alderwood please speak up or everyones gana think i finaly lost it lol! __________________ SCUPPER A COMMERCIAL TOOOO DAY! |
