| Big! Brown Trout :-) was out fishing yesterday, had the best days fishing I think i've ever had in Lough Erne. I caught: 2x Jack Pike's 3x Perch (average size) 6x baby trout I only kept one fish and it was this big daddy :-) Bear in mind, i'm 6 foot 4 inches tall! and the trout is the full length of my upper body   Look at the watch on the window, it will give you an idea of size in comparison.      |

| Re: Big! Brown Trout :-) i got him about 100 yards on the belleek side of "Gay Island" on lough erne in about 35 foot of water. I had a big red and white pike lure on with a sinker attached. im guessing I had it around 20 foot down. The trout came up like a bag of rocks at first, he came to surface - took one look at me and away he went. took about 45 minutes to get him into the boat :-) |
