| Morning At Berkley Decided To Give Berkley (A Warminster Club Water) Another Go This Week. Having Caught Some Carp Off The Top Last Week, This Was Going To Be My Main Attack. Unfortunatly With The Rain We Had The Water Temperture Had Dropped And The Carp Were No Where To Be Seen On The Top When We Got To The Lake. I Did Try And Tempt Them Up With A Few Dog Biscuits, But They Werent Having Any Of It. So I Decided The Waggler Was Going To Be The Way To Go. I Had Hoped To Catch A Few Of The Nice Roach That Are In Berkley Using My Main Bait Of Small Cubes Of Bacon Grill, Which Has Proved Very Good In The Past. I Used Maggot Last Week And Got Played By Tiny Rudd, So Didnt Even Bother Bringing Any This Week. Cindy Was Off The Mark First ![]() There Was Many More To Follow From The Both Of Us; ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Below Is A Close Up Of A 3lb Carp Which Has The Strange Purple Color, Normally People Only Catch Small Carp Of About A 1lb That Look Purple, But This One Weighted In At 3lb 5oz, Biggest Purple One Ive Seen Come Out Of Berkley. ![]() Biggest Fish Of The Day; 6lb 15oz ![]() I Had A Phone Call From Banana Steve About 11am Asking If Id Like To Go Over To Todber Manor About 2pm To Go To The Tackle And See The Lakes. Ive Never Been So I Jumped At The Chance. We Only Did Just Over 3 Hours Fishing At Berkley But Had About 30 Carp. After Going To Todber In The Afternoon, I Think I Will Be Attending The Pre-Bluewater Meet Now. We Also Stopped Off On The Way Back, As Steve Wanted To See If A Water Was Still Going That He Used To Fish Years Ago, Culver Farm. I Think Steve Wants To Give It Another Go Now As He Knows Its Still Running, I Wouldnt Mind Joining Him If He Wants Some Company, Theres Two Very Quite Lakes With Some Carp Up To 25lb. Berkley Is A Venue You Cannot Blank On, It's Crammed Full Of Fish, Carp, Roach, Rudd And Apparently Tench, Never Seen One Come Out Yet Tho. Its A Great Venue To Use Light Tackle On I Never Use More Than 4lb Main Line And 3lb Hook Length. Simon N |

| Great report & pics Simon. Had loads of those carp with the purple tint from Berkley & never seen any that look like that anywhere else. They all seem to be healthy enough though. Anyone else seen fish that look like that? __________________ Don't Judge My Path If You Haven't Walked My Journey... |
