On starwars day a trip too the darkside

well recently the sea fishing has been a tad poor, although my optomisum of the comeing spring species has led to baggie changeing his signature
so it was a trip to the darkside at kiaora with the baggie one, with sounds of may the forth be with us in the head

the pond was busy but we got settled into a good peg with wind behind us
both had a sleeper rod with luncheon meat out, and a float rod( in my case a barbel rod as lent other rod out

we were steady on skimmers and rudd on the float rod then eventually a few roach for points



then baggie had a good run on the sleeper, but unfortunately pulled the hook
then my float sailed off and whoo hoo this was no skimmer



and at last my conmmon carp voodoo was beaten( only had mirrors ever since bluewater 2 year ago


ok not huge but a good fight on thye light gear

i tried something seceret and different in the groundbait but it totally killed the swim..too be honest i stufffed it, but the guy too our right moved so we jumped into there and baggie was soon in again, which spat the hook just as net was at its nose , unfortunately he then had to go , i was gutted foir him

i stayed on till dusk hopefully for the two other types of carp in the pond or a tench
it was quiet


but after 1/2 an hour the sleeper rod went off and after a short fight and whallop a mirror at 8lb


then the float rod went again and this was a fiesty beast

then the sleeper rod went and another mirror ( not quite so much fun on a carp rod)

too finish just as i was starting to pack up the float rod raced off and a great fight and another common , best fish of the day at just off 10lb


a great afternoon in the end, i feel sorry for baggie as he tried so hard , we will have too pop up for an eve again soon mate for those tench and crucians

You've gotta be kidding me????

There are words for people like you ya know, most of them not repeatable on a family forum. Having watched me lose 3 decent carp (I'm not even gonna go into the dodgy nets-manship for the second one ) you've then proceeded to damage the swim with some dodgy ground breaking (It certainly broke something mate) ground bait, but you've then waited until our hero has to leave before hoping into the swim that he'd picked out and filled yer boots with decent fish and doubtless had a whale of a time doing it?

Just how do you sleep at night? Eh? EH?
