| Shearwater feeder fishing Just back from my first ever feeder session. What a day its been after several hiccups setting up and line tangles I settled down to what was a very productive session landing a PB Perch and Roach. Didnt weigh them but by sight alone I knew they were bigger than anything ive ever caught before. I also landed 8 Bream between 1/2 lb and 2 lb. How strange to me it was to actually have a fight off these fish so used to bullying them with big hooks and strong line, kinda different when your using 4lb mainline 3.1/2 lb hooklength and a size 14 maggot hook. My verdict of feeder fishing Bloody awesome will be up to more of the same during the summer pre and post OP. |
