a good day sesh in the end!! i went to my local lake yesterday at about 8am (overslept ) and was surprised to only see two other kids fishing as its normally full of kids in the half term! had a quick look around and saw a few fish in what is known as the new bit so fished by there on the main lake on a peg i call the point as it gives you many options. at first one rod was fished to the island and another tight to the margin in the new bit.![]() left hander ![]() right hander after about an hour or so i had a run off the left hander fished to the margin but came off at the net so was pretty gutted, about half an hour later had another run but after 2 seconds that came off too, when i reeled in it somehow cut me off just above the hook! ![]() 15lb mirror as the right hand rod wasnt producing i moved it to the opposite margin of the left hander and after about half an hour it tore off, i got it in the net and was well chuffed when the scales swung round to 20lb 4oz! get in! nothing else happened after that but was a quality day! ![]() beauti!! ![]() water pic! cold but worth it ![]() ![]() a proper carp! not these round snot balls you see! ha ha __________________ ><((((*> fish to live, live to fish!! ><((((*> please join my facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Burley...5223465?ref=ts

Re: a good day sesh in the end!! Nice fish m8, I went for a walk round crippets last week and had a chat to the people fishing there and most weren't happy moaning that they hadn't caught anything much and hadn't really seen an awful lot and thought the bloke ( is it steve), was shall we say enhancing some of the stories of the fish that had been caught recently. You know the fishery a lot better than me and seem to have some success there whats ur overall opinion of it m8?

Re: a good day sesh in the end!! I would love to do coarse fishing but sadly nothing around were i live worth thinking about. Great pics and its a huge talent you have as i have seen some great fishing from you, superb stuff. Lovely looking lake, have you ever fished a place called horse shoe lake, i watched matt hayes(superb angler in my eyes) and mick brown over many years and just so frustrating there is nowhere to give it a go. Tight lines.
