| Pike Fishing - with a surprise To be quite honest i'd love to have a big story to write, but it was a very quiet day with quite a few beers... but ended with one hell of a fish. I lost my rig on a snag so decided to put on a spinner for an hour or so before heading home, i cast it out and the treble caught round the line, so first retrieval skated along the top of the water. I was showing a mate of mine how the spinner worked just moving it in the water in front of me when we saw a big perch come out of the weeds and snatch it up. was just a matter of netting it then, no spare line to reel lol. The monster tipped the scales at 4lb 1oz. __________________ Fishing for a lifetime, not a past-time.     |
