Talking Vale Farm Fisheries (Longparish)

Here is my album of my second fishing trip.
once again went to Vale Farm Fisheries, Longparish, near Andover. Weather was great, had a great day and learnt a hell of alot.

Catches:

Carp: 2lb, 2.5lb, 1.5lb, 2.5lb, 1.75lb, 2.3lb, 2.5lb, 4.3lb (PB), 2.43lb, 1.79lb, 1.9lb, 1.75lb and 2.1lb
Roach: 1.5lb

Back out again tomorrow for round 3

Is the roach you are talking about in those photographs? if so, its a skimmer bream not a roach,

Yes they are Bream the last one is a young bream known as a skimmer, The carp is a Mirror Carp normal has large mirror like scales but that one only has a few on its tail but it is still classed as a mirror. Just a hint hope you don't mind, but when taking photos try and stay low, if you are standing and the Carp thrashes around you may drop the fish, and at that hight you may kill it, its better for the fish and photo look better when kneeling. Well done on your catches, you looking forward to your next trip?
