Got to crockerton at 3pm to find no one on the lake deciedid to fish peg 2 as its dryer than peg 7 set up both rods and put them both out with no other bait. Then set up the bivvy befor the rain lol.

Not long after i set up everything it rained then i had hailstones followed by snow and more rain at 9pm i had a few bleeps from my left rod that was in the margin infront of the next swim. Was useing a 14mm boilie toped with a 12mm popup. Was a slow and steady take was a nice 3lb tench. After only 15min or recasting back in i had another take from another 3lb tench whilst i just unhooked it and leting it go my right had rod tore off grabed the rod and after a big fight to keeping it out of a overhanging tree i finaly landed a nice 13lb common.
Both rods back out and then the left hand rod was away again with another tench thats 3 in a row on the same rod. Not long followed with my right had rod going with a 6lb mirror. Got into bed then 5mins passed beep beep on my right rod got out went to the rod and it stoped befor i got there. Watched the rod for a few mins as it was raining no movment so got back into bed then my left rod started to beep jumped out rushed down to the rods and it stoped again watched the rods no movment so left them just sat on my bed started to zip my door shut then my left rod started to bleep waited for a few bleeps then heard the cluch going so dashed down nearly slipping up and grabed the rod lifted into it and the line was slack reeled down to find a nice tug and started to power off takeing line after awhile thought it was ready grabed my net diped it in then it shot off under my right rod so stuck the tip under the water low to try get it back but no joy it managed to pick up my right line after a bit of a fit i managed to land it. Spent ages untagleing my lines got them both back out. Got into bed put the kettle on then my left rod went off at pace after a good fight my right hand rod beeped afew times and the bobbin started to raise thought this would be fun 2 fish at the same time got the first one in the net then picked up my right rod played it and managed to get the 2nd carp into the net too without looseing the first got them both onto the net unhooked them and had a nice

2 nice 11lb mirrors. Got into bed then at 5.25am my left had rod went off with a nice 14 1/2lb mirror. Back to bed then at just after 9am the gate to the lake went and then a rattle on the bivvy by the club bailff check for the new memberships after a chat and check of my licence got back into bed. Then later the gate went again waited never heard anything so stuck my head out to find simon picking up abit of litter after abit of a chat steve turned up so gave him a hand with his bivvy and a chat steve went off for abit. After a chat with my girlfriend i managed to talker her into letting me stay for another 24h. So my dad come over and droped me off another night ticket.

Well Done Ben, You Have A Good First Night. I Know You, Steve And Claudia Didnt Have A Great Thursday Night All Being Woken Up For A Bream. But All Three Of You Stuck It Out In The Rain And The Wind.

Nothing till the night and had a 5lb mirror not worth wakeing anyone for pics. Was woken by being poked by twiddler as steve made some bacon rolls for breakfast. The weather was wet most of the day with some sun. Spent most of the day talking to steve and twiddler. My right had rod went off and i managed a 5lb carp so steve took some pics.
Had a young lad and his mum watching and he thought i had a shark lol.
Araged to be picked up at 7pm so at 6pm i started to pack up steve came over to lend a hand was in the middle of takeing my over wrap off when my right hand rod went off steve was off with me to follow lifted into another carp after awhile of playing it i got snagged up lost the fish then steve gave me a hand to get unsnaged but ended up being snapped off. Packed up just in time for when my dad turned up.
