As some of us got some sun on sunday, JP and I decided to see if the carp at higher farm had also enjoyed the sun on their back and it took no effort to fling the fluff chucking gear into the glorious gudgeon and pick JP up.
It turned out to be quite hard going, the fish began to rise after a few minutes and a couple of doggie biscuits flicked out, but the fish were being very cagey, nudging them, but as the light faded they were a bit more confident.

Sadly we did loose a few fish, mainly because they were not taking the bait properly. Sadly I did loose a ncie ghost carp, maybe 6lb. Shame as it would be a new pb for me in the ghost/koi dept.
The tempreture did drop quite sharply as the sun diapeared over the horizon, but at least there was plenty of light to have an evenings fishing by.

I have to confess that due to my astma playing up I wimped out of a bite too eat and a drop of grog in our favourite post fishing boozer, there will be plenty of other sessions tho.
