| Re: 24hours @ Crocketon Go to the lake at just after 12. After looking at some new lakes for the club. Set up bettween my brother and dad. Weather wasnt great very quite to start of had a run at 5.40pm from a nice 10 1/2lb carp (pic above). Then no movement till 10.40pm when the same rod went of thought it was a small carp till i go it to the serface and landed a nice 4lb tench. Was useing a 14mm and 12mm pop up snowman style. Then nothing till 4.10am when the same rod tore off with a nice carp at 9lb all where cought on the same bait. My other rod i was trying out a new bait on again with no luck. In the morning i changed it to two baits i knew worked but no fish. Steve turned up sunday with his camra to take so photos but i faild to catch may be next time lol. The lakes starting to get its colour back and the fish are on the move. Will be back on the lake soon. |
