Arrow Lure fishing report

Hi all, went fishing yesterday. Just for a few hours. went light weight, one rod, small box with plugs, spinners and jigs. tried some rubber jigs bounced off the bottom and nothing. tried spinners and spoons and nothing, last ditched effort with the plugs and got a take but she through the hooks at the net!

better luck next time me thinks :)

Re: Lure fishing report

Found it hard myself, though this is my first winter pike fishing. I have been monitoring local reports and not much being caught at all. I am assuming the non stop torrential rain in late autumn, and the colder than normal winter hasnt helped? or perhaps the local pike fishing (I dont have many venues nearby really) is just not very good every winter?
