| my best fishing day ever went on partridge lakes today (willow) only caught five but what fish first was a common round about 7lb caught tight up against the island with method feeder and luncheon meat with tumeric and garlic salt added on a size 14 hair rig second 20 mins later mirror round about 9-10 lb mark had no scales so just hard to say exact fishing went off for a good 3 hours without a bite 3 was a little common or f1 cant tell the difference then the big one mirror bout 15 lb had to get someone on the next peg to help me with it thi guy reckons it was between 15-18 lbs took me a good 6-8 mins to land it what a difference a couple of degrees in the weather makes everyone was catching and to round the day off out comes a chub bout 3-4 lbs all fish caught on luncheon meat and garlic and tumeric i will probably not have another day like that i didnt bothertakin a camera i was only expecting to catch skimmers im gutted i didnt take one now     |

| Re: my best fishing day ever well done mate. You can tell f1 carp from commons quite easily. The f1 strain have no barbules. take the camera from now on and post them on the site. Great to see new fish pics posted best of luck next time |
