| Re: A new PB at Town Parks Yet another super 36 hour session. Arrived there at 4pm Friday night and set up on peg 14 one of the deep water marks there was lots of fish rolling on the surface so i crused up some boilies and made up some pva sticks. I had a few line bites during the night but no real takes. Saturday day decided to tddler bash and caught a nice 1 1/2 to 2lb perch on 5 maggots. I was baiting a corner along with a mate with hallibut pellet for the cats as were were going to fish worm over the top as the weather got dark but this plan soon died as the filled up with only 1 peg left. Come the evening i had moved to a zig rig 4-5 ft mid water as no carp came out. My friend had a nice 18lb out and missed two i was still fishless. Come 9.30 my lovely wife bought me a dominoes pizza and no sooner the rod screamed of resulting in a little 12lb 8 oz common carp. Re baited and cast back out when 20 mins later a 14lb common was on the bank so again re baited and cast back out no sooner had it hit a little 6lb common was on the bank. My rods in the margins didnt get a touch so i moved the other rod to a zig rig with the same depth. Had lots of missed bites where the hook pulled but a super session even if i didnt get any sleep. Only 3 weeks till im there again. tj  will try to get pics up later taken on phone again so very dark |
