Woke Up This Morning To Find We Had A Frost Last Night. Thought About Whether It Was Worth Going As Didnt Know If Any Of The Lake Would Be Frozen Over. Decided That The Car Was Still Loaded From Mondays Day Out Fishing So We Would Go. Got To The Car Park At 9.30am And It Was Empty. Thought Maybe People Had The Same Idea As Me And It Might Be Frozen. Made The Walk To The Lake Across The Field For The Second Day In A Row, The Lake Was Clear No Frost. The Water Level Looked Slightly Down From Monday. Still Very Coloured. Decided To Fish The Very End Swim Today, Very Muddy Walking Down But Once There To My Suprise It Wasnt Muddy. Set Up A Waggler Set Up To Fish For Roach Today, Crystal Waggler 2AA 4lb Main Line 2lb Hook Lengh Size 16 Maggot Hook. Feed In Some Hemp, Maggots And Groundbait. Set The Depth And 10 Mins In A Nice Little Roach

Kept Catching A Few More, And Then Hooked Into Something That Held Bottom A Bit More, Turned Out To Be A Baby Carp.

This Carp Had A Funny Growth On One Of Its Fins Which I Havent Seen Before On A Fish. Couple Of Pics Below Of The Growth There Not To Clear.

Carried On The Day With Small Roach Catching One Every Cast Using Double Maggot, Tried Switching To Sweetcorn Near The End Of The Session To Try And Catch A Bigger Roach But No Luck To Swapped Back To Maggot, And Straight Away Hooked Into Another Carp, Bigger This Time.

Last Fish Of The Day Was Caught Just Seconds Before Deciding To Pack Up For The Day.

Packed Up And Left At 2.30pm
