yesterdays fishing

Saturdays match started with an ice breaking session 2to3 inches thick in parts the guys worked hard to clear it… they fished one side of the lake only pegs 1 to 12 leaving 13 to 24 empty not surprisingly bites early on were few and far between and weights were a little low 6lb plus winning from peg 2 picture below is looking from peg 12 downwards…the sun shone all day and despite the lack of fish a good day had by all….I didn’t fish been out 2 weeks nursing an operation on my elbow so I had to be happy with spectating…..going to give it a go next week

Re: yesterdays fishing

Thank goodness for gobal warming, just think how cold it would be without it

It does look cold, and looks like it was hard work, i remember those days, sat on a box waiting for slightest movement on the pole float. brr glad i live in the south where us whimps live.
