Thumbs up Fishing the river Tay

Hello there guys. I've been fishing the river Tay this week at the Kenmore end for the Salmon (spinning). but had no luck. I managed to hook into a 4 and a 1/2lb sea trout and a Brownie about 2lb. They both took a 25g silver Toby. Put them both back quickly. nice fish. I here there is a lot os Salmon being cought further up the river. But can anyone tell me if the Salmon would be at the Kenmore end this early in the season or am I just wasting my time. It costs me £25 a day to fish there. can anyone help?

Iron-blue.
