Anyone catch this before??

Hi all..anyone catch this species before..this is an araprima..freshwater..one of the biggest freshwater species..

Nope, that's defo an arrapima!! They're the biggest freshwater fish, and are supposed to be uncatchable on rod and line. I think they grow to around 700lbs (could be more, might be less, can't remember)

There was a programme on Discovery home and leisure called Jungle Hooks and it was about a british guy who went to the amazon to see if they were uncatchable, obviously he did catch one, he also got headbutted by one in the chest when they were netting them somewhere, and he said it was like being kicked by a horse and was still hurting 4 hours later.

Yes i think so and loads of catfish

i just worked out how big that fish is by looking at the size of the rod, i thought it was just a little fish but it aint
you get that in this contry?
