I also watched "Jungle Hooks" - a fishing programme that stood out from the crowd IMO as it was presented by someone who came across as a professional presenter! Not too mention some fascinating locations and catches.

IIRC, he finally caught the fish in a small-ish lake, but wasn't allowed to use a rod and line, but caught it with a bloody great hook and a hand line, just after he'd eaten pirhanna sushi (!) ... Not the most attractive fish I've ever seen but amazing nonetheless .. great story.
