Half a report on etang de margot.

Hello there,

not long been back from my week long trip to margot. I had a great time really good fishing and loads of cheap plonk and champagne! Five euros for five litres of wine and seven euros for a bottle of champers. The carp were on it all week, i started fishing tigers over big beds of tiger, maise, corn, hemp and other small seeds. This meathod produced fish but it was a little slow so i swapped to double boilie over large beds of boilie. In the end I had two 18's and sixteen 20's with the biggest going 29. Also i had two little cats.
The biggest to come out was a 48 and there was another four 40's and seven 30's so it was a good week for all. The lake itself would come alive at night, there was loads of european beaver( they love eating wooden reel handels) and two mysterious bigger than normal cats( feline ) that would fight each other and hunt the ducks. The first couple of nights we were s*****g ourselves till we worked out what it was. I managed to leave my camera at a mates so hopefully should get it back and have some photos on by the end of the week.
