| Old toms heywood Well after weeks of reading, learning and getting the tackle together i finally went for it today. With Matt Hayes how to float fish burnt into my brain i hit a small lake on a golf course in Heywood. ![]() This had a variety of fish with some carp some say around 16lb. 10 minutes in i caught my 1st skimmer bream not a biggie but a proud moment lol ![]() After a enjoyable 6 hours i had caught 2 lovelly Roach and 5 decent Skimmer Bream with the 1 below the largest ![]() I know its small fry to some but i really enjoyed it today, 7 fish might not be match winners or catching that big carp but theres other days ahead.
