fishing report

hi guys this is a report of last weeks session and is my first post of this kind

7:30 am - i arrived at my local water walked around for about 10 mins and decided on wich peg to fish once all set up i opted to go for a feeder fishing approach up to an island in the middle of the pond i mixed my groundbait set up the feeder and cast out. the target species for the day where carp , tench , bream and crucians

8:30 - so far things where very slow the tip had remined static so far. i decided to leave the feeder out but if no bites came in the next half an hour i was going to reel in and change my bait

9:30 am - still not a single nibble i reeled my feeder in and changed over to double maggot

11:30 - about time first fish of the day a lovley crucian carp about 1lb

2:00 pm - nothing since the crucian carp i relled in and recats every so often changing baits to see if any would make a difference the fish wasn't having non of it.

5:00 pm - now is the time things usely start to hot up. all of a sudden my tipp wrapped around a absolute clonking bite and i was rewarded with a nice common carp around 4lb. i recast to the same spot and ten minutes later i was yet again hooked into a decent mirror carp around the 5lb - 6lb mark wich put up a great scrap. for the rest of the session i managed around six bream all around the 1lb - 2lb region

7:30 packed all my stuff away looking foward to the next session

used to have trouble with the method myself ,try switching over to a maggot feeder with maggot hook bait works for me had bream ,carp and tench of this method tight lines
