3rd day 3 pointer success

well today was my last day of freedom
and still had some by now very tired bait left


there is a 1/2 bag sweetcorn under those sad maggot/caster

finished work at 2 and was on the culm at killerton by 2.30



fished the float rod and size 18 and maggot and ledger rod with luncheon meat and size 8

within 10 mins managed to gain some points with this leviathon ( but was target


job done
so after failing to retrieve ledger rod from weed
it was a quick run up the road to collumpton and the top pond of the kia ora , hunting crucian again

set up right at back to avoid the hundreds of wildfowl and very strong wind


used both rods as before

after a few hanfulls of swwetcorn and tiy pellet went in, I soon was invaded by all those birds



the skimmer bream were comeing almost every cast slimeing everything

I was just settling down to a bit of tull and Aqualung( best opening 4 lines of a song ever )

( know ian will appreciate this

when the float rod is away like a rocket( I didnt see the bite and was lucky it hooked itself) and result my target




after that it was a stream of skimmers and 1 roach but unfortunately no common carp( the other target)

guess i'll have to return
now off to meet mr youngs or mr otter , i think i deserve one or two

a good 3 days and managed 3 points at death
