Tj's Stag meet a town park for cats and big carp

As posted before there are 16 pegs up for grabs for a forum meet to catch cats and big carp. The biggest carp is roughly 36lb with the biggest cat at 45lb.

so far the names are

Its going to be £14 per person for 24 hours on september 12th.

The specimen lakes peg details

Pegs 2&3

These are flyers. A shelf about 2ft of the island is where the majourty of the carp are caught. A good sprinkling of pellet and small pva bags to take the carp and cats

Peg 6

Another great peg where a cast to the back of the island will see you connect with carp. Where the roped section of the lake is. There are always big carp here.

Peg 8

Hidden features in this peg always produce fish. Deep whole around 9ft deep 2 rods lenght off. Again a pop up works well over pellet

pegs 10-13

This is where the biggest fish are taken. the lake will drop to 13ft. with a hard spot where a few 20lb plus have been taken.

How to get there



Town Parks T&C's

1. Suitable barbles hooks only
2. No nut baits
3. Random rig/bait checks will be carried out
4. Pre dipped/ suitable landing sized nets are mandatory
5. unhooking mats to be used at all times
6. Children under 14 years must be supervised at all times
7. Keep lines/ bait with in designated swims (half way rule applies)
8. Able bodied anglers must give way to disabled anglers on designated pegs
9. Parking adjasent to the top lake for blue badge holders only
10. No baited rods to be left unattended
11. Pets must be on leads
12. No alchol (rule suspened providing we dont take the urine)
13. Use bins provided leave your peg as you would expect to find it
14. no fishing behind blue rope
15. Use of klinik antiseptic and mandatory
16. keep noise to a minium
17. Respect fellow angler and enviroment
18. Only angler in pegs 1, 2, 9, and 10 may fish to the island (main)
19. Veichles left at owners risk
20. Town Parks ltd except no liability whats so ever to loss or damage to personal property
21. Be aware of location and safety equiptment
22. Access to public desiganted areas only
23. No live baits or dead
24. Maxium hook size 5 on specimen lake
25. 3 rods maxium on specimen lake
26. Failure to comply with these rules will result in exclusion form the fishery.

All done. Ive seen jerry he would like to know what time we want the lake from on sat. Any time is good for me im just thinking of you guys who are travelling down whats best for your selves? An evening start or midday?

What time shall i get the lake from on sat? When do u think the three of you will be leaving? Do u aim to arrive in the morning for 10am or later?
