Talking Tunnel Barn Farm

Hi all

im hoping to get off to tunnel barn farm fishery situated in shrewly warwickshire for a great days fishing... i have never fished any of the 9 available pools but have been told on numerous occasions that this is an ace fishery... hopefully i will be in for a great days fishing and will get the chance to give the method feeder a real try for the first time as my last session was ruined by strong winds

anyway i will post my days activities either after my session tomorrow or at a later shortly after

i have heard so many good things about this fishery and the facilities there include a large well stocked tackle store and also peg to peg deliveries of sandwiches or other snacks ordered by the angler and delivered by the fishery on a golf caddy... what a great idea atleast something gets biting if the fish are feeling a bit shy and im sure i will be tucking into quite a few of those sarnies myself ha

if anybody has ever fished any of the available pools please tell me how your day went and also if you have any advice or preferences on where and how to fish at this complex :)

Re: Tunnel Barn Farm

well my session yesterday went fairly well to be honest... the morning started off well with the sun shining and carp up to 3-4 Ib showing on the surface but also still feeding on the bottom... it wasn't long before i hooked into my first fish using my quivertip rod however it wasn't one of the carp i was hoping for just a skimmer bream after returning the skimmer things turned and i soon found myself hooking into some nice looking carp and the action continued all day right untill i left the pool at 6:30

Now i know why people say make sure your drag is set when fishing the feeder 'coz your rod will be in as i had about 4 carp who simply tried swimming off with my rod and it almost ended up in the pool a few times

I will hopefully be fishing at Tunnel Barn Farm fishery frequently now as it offers a great day of fishing to all :)
