| bt lakes colchester. Went fishing with my uncle & Dad up bt lakes in Colchester, was fantastic fishing, private lakes so we had them all to ourselfs which was real nice, Caugh some lovely fish, Caugh my biggest fish yet, 14lb common on a fly rod, piece of floating bread! was such a good fight! we cooked food on the bank, weather was good untill I had a bit of an accident, Lets say fishing in lightning is not a good thing to do.. which I found out, I was told to put my rod down if I hurd thunder but Out of no where BOOOOOOOOM! I wasnt hit properly, but I felt it go down my arm & the rod just bounced out my hand, was horrible! wasnt a direct hit otherwise I wouldnt be writing this message right now, but still scary stuff, but 1 hour after that, I had my 14lb beauty! | Re: bt lakes colchester. ahh cheers buddie!! Yea was a really good time. we are going to fish the river chelmer & blackwater in a few weeks! 12 miles of river for the weekend, cant wait, Just well good to have something in common with my dad, Like little advenures, love it! |
