| That many fish my[URL=http://s734.photobucket.com/albums/ww344/robbiep23 arms hurt!!! Well what a day saturday was, whitmore fisheries east lake was on fire!!! Weather warm and sunny little bit of a ripple on the water, nice set of reads to fish to and.... With in half hour small carp around 4/5lb and my first golden tench of the season. From then i found the barbel, 8 of them from about 3lb upwards. My fishing buddy charlie even came up with a barbel after a slow start. After 5 hours my arms were so sore with these barbel the maggots came out and i spent a couple of hours fishing for skimmers and roach. All in all an awesome day at my favourite fisherie   charlies barbel my barbel is there a nicer looking fish? nice camera work charlie!!!    |

| Re: That many fish my arms hurt!!! I'll be honest im not a great fan of barbel in lakes either i much prefer tench, carp and silvers... traditional still water fish. On the flip side if commercials didnt stock barbel then i still might be a barbelblanker too  dont get to do any river fishing |
