| kiora this eve with the lovely late eves, belted off to kiora ponds for the eve, with mate carl again in tow got there and set up for 7pm, 1 float rod and 1 feeder( used more as a baitrunner as found too hard to watch both) had place to ourselves( he has no licence so spectated and ate all my winegums  rudd were a real nightmare hitting any bait on the drop, and ended up having to use a massive 6 bb chubber float( found the biggest waggler i had cracked  ) to take enough shot to get the maggot down past them fast enough, but this left b*gger all bite indication from the shy fishhad 1 skimmer bream on the baitrunner and was getting more than frustrated as area was fizzing with tench over the anniseed groundbait i had thrown in, and they were all arround float, even had 2 lift and slide away takes that i skillfully missed, untill at last on last knockings I bagged this little one  even jumped out the water twice on way in( water temp was way way up today) ended up packing up on last light at 10, when the area was alive with bubbles no carp came to visit but a pleaent chilled evening all the same and points  dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives     |

| Re: kiora this eve Nice tench, tench bubbles are an hypnotic site, I managed to get them going in an insane way once, had a bait amongst them and could not get abte. This was after feeding hempseed. Later I was told to put some white elastic around a black bead and fish that amongst the hempseed. Have not tried it, sadly that lake and experience was many moons ago. |
