| Telluride, CO I just got back from a short trip to fish the Doloris River in Telluride, CO. Due to the massive snow melt the dams have been releasing a lot of water. So, the rivers in the area were washed out and running heavy. We were primarily fly fishing with nymphs and eggs, but did some spin casting, too. Had better luck fishing the flat water lakes and ponds. Caught both rainbow and brown trout. Overall had a good time. The locals said the fishing should pick up considerably in two weeks. |
