Off to cobbleacre lakes Norfolk, any tips?

Off to fish cobbleacre in the morning, never fished there before, don't care what I catch. Any tips or advice? By the way I'm not into big carp fishing.

Re: Off to cobbleacre lakes Norfolk, any tips?

What can I say about cobbleacre? Well my gut reaction was I didn't like the place! It's a large place and a map would have been nice. I had looked online and wanted to fish a particular lake but couldn't tell which one was which when I got there.trying to get a day ticket was fun, no one around, office shut, worked it out in the end, you have to fill in a ticket and leave your money in an unmarked box stuck to the side of a porta cabin. Sign on the box would be so so easy. Reading the rules and the threat of a life time ban for failure to comply put me off a bit as well. Having said all that the lake I fished was beautiful lots of wildlife about. Fishing was a little disapionting after Reading up on the place. Plenty of small roach, rudd, perch upto 1/2lb ,2 IDE 3/4lb, 1 bream 1 1/4lb. Will give it another go at some point but I won't rush back, just don't feel right there.
