| Just over 21 months.. ..since I was last out fishing, but tomorrow evening after work I'm back! Heading to a local lake for 2 nights. Will be joining Chris, who is starting this afternoon and I have to say, I'm very much looking forward to it. As long as I remember how to cast, should be a good trip  Weather forecast is looking okay, so should be in for a good social and catching fish will be an added bonus. | Re: Just over 21 months.. Well unfortunately, the fishing was absolutely dire. Like said, Chris was down on the Thursday night and by the time I arrived Friday evening, had had 3 carp out, so was feeling confident for the session. However, there was absolutely nothing for the rest of the session. The lake was completely dead, no sign of fish moving anywhere. Seemed like everyone else on the lake blanked too, so not quite sure what was putting them off. Was very cold at night and not particularly comfortable, so with no sign of improvement we finished the session early and headed for the pub last night.
