| worst weekend session ever!! went to angelsey this weekend and fished Rhoscolyn, treaddur beach and ravenspoint. blanked at the first 3, snapped a rod at ravenspoint trying to get free from a snag and just before i decided to pack up I got a massive take on my optomistic rig (6.0 & 5.0 pennell) it felt like a massive ray.... after a short fight of about 2 mins I managed to get the fish to the surface and it was a first for me....... a 70kg scuba diver, foul hooked through the thigh!!! the very  man was threatening with all sorts of legal action. is there a precident for this? the diver was diving alone (which I think is illegal?) and was not using a marker bouy or anything. if anyone has a top section for a shakespear salt 13ft fixed spool beachcaster they don't need any more, please let me know Cheers TMH     |
