another day of success

missus said i had to be out of the house today, so decided to go fishing ... what better excuse could i have?
arranged for my brother in law to meet me after his exam at the silt lake, tilgate park.
i got there & was set up by about 10. nothing for the 1st 1/2 hour, then a few small bites, folowed by about 3 hours of good action, i think the fish stopped for lunch, then started again about 3ish.
1st fish fell off the hook hear the landing net, but looked like a decent sized bream, both rods were going alternatively, so i was kept on my toes. my next fish was a personal best bream ... i know this as all the others i've landed have been small. then a mix of small roach & pirch, 8 in all, then another small 1 fell off the hook.
when my brother in law turned up about mid day, he had a mix of 5 pirch & roach, so was happy.
biggest thing i landed all day was after a few bites ... a 4 foot long branch from the lake bottom ... will this stickle back count in the speceis hunt? lol.
we packed up about 4ish.
i must admit, i had my doubts as to what the lake would fish like because it felt a bit colder than recent days & the intermittent rain was annoying.
i took a pic of my pb bream (how do i load it on here?) & weighed it ... my rusty 20 yr old spring scales showed it at 1lb, but can't gurantee the accuracy of the scales, might invest in some new decent ones.
did manage to catch the trees on the island & lost my smaller cage feeder & swivel, but small price on a day i had a pb

cheers mate, yep, always good feeling with new pb's. i put a pic of my catch in my albums as it was the only place i could see where & how to do it ... don't know how to do it on the threads. so am claiming 3.5 points ... pirch, roach & bream+pic

As a member, you can create Albums of images that are linked to your public profile. Albums can be created by visiting the User Control Panel, and clicking on the 'Pictures & Albums' link, and then clicking on 'Add Album'.

Each album can have a title ('Joe's Holiday to Nepal'), a description ('A bunch of photos from my recent adventure') and can be of three different types: Public, Private or Profile.

Public albums can be viewed by anyone
Private albums can only be viewed by site staff (moderators, administrators) and your Friends and Contacts (info)
Profile albums are viewable only by you. However, you can use the images to customize your public profile (info)
How do I upload pictures?

Once you've created an album you can upload images to it. Simply view the album and click on 'Upload Pictures'.

You'll have the option to give each picture a caption, and to set one image as the Album cover, which will be displayed on the public profile. To delete an album or edit the title, description or album type, click on 'Edit Album'. To delete an image, or to edit a caption or change the album cover, click on 'Edit Pictures'.

All members who have access to your album images can comment on them, in a similar way to Visitor Messages (more info). You can delete any image comments from your albums, and report inappropriate messages to moderators.

When you have uploaded a picture, you can place it in your posts by using the BB code text that is displayed below the image when you view it at full size.
