| fishing trips this week Got couple of trips sorted this week out tomorrow on the forum meet see what we can tempt out of the Sharpness canal. Then weds got the day off, paying a visit to Chew valley in search of pike fingers crossed the weather holds.     |

| Re: fishing trips this week Bank permits are 12.50 and boats about 26.50 i think but there not as easy to get hold of like bank permits although both types of permit are allocated in advance i applied back before christmas. Got my two for Feb also got other permits for end of year Oct and Nov If you give chew a ring you can pick up cancellations |

| Re: fishing trips this week well the weather put pay to chew couldn't get the car through the snow  Did enjoy sat fishing the zander meet and some zander were caught  think i will try the bristol avon for pike sun morning weather permitting |

| Re: fishing trips this week just read the last fortnights reports from chew 2 30 ibers and quite a few 20 s plus a few double figure browns 2 deadbaits one of the 30s was caught by tv presenter chris tarrent unfortuntlly all the permits for 2009 have been taken |
