| Back in to the swing of things Having a day off work tomorrow is just calling for a day out on the bank, so I decided to have a few hours on the Hampshire Avon at Britford tomorrow. Going to play with my 'New Love'....my centrepin, I'll be doing a few hours trotting for chub, roach and anything else I can tempt for a 'free meal'. This time however, I will also try to fish with some bread, which I never really tried before, as I always thought it would come off the hook too quick. Hence I educated myself a bit (well, I tried anyway) and done some research by reading a few articles about fishing with bread. However, I'm still going to take some maggots, in case it all goes ti*s up ![]() __________________ There is certainly something in angling that tends to produce a serenity of the mind." - Washington Irving |

| Re: Back in to the swing of things Good Luck, I have always found bread to be a good cold weather bait for roach, it will be interesting to see what you think, BW __________________ Blackwater Tackle Supplies Keep Ulster's Waters Healthy, Practice Catch and Release! |
