| Another quick session on the staffs worcester. Saturday and yet again I take three girls fishing. This time though I armed them with cheap 4 m whips from Decathlon . A howling wind made life a bit difficult but didn't stop the gudgeon, small perch and small roach biting. This time it was my neice Katie who won the most fish and biggest fish trophy. Apart from tearing my hair out in frustration with my two playing the two musketeers with the whips (ie everybody tan-gulllll) it was better than two hours in front of the tele. Just in case anyone is thinking of fishing the Stourbridge Arm of the staffs worcs , you need to be aware of a major dewatering that occured there recently. It was in the local press. The water is back but I think the fish may well have ended up in the River Stour. Might want to pick a different stretch for a while. This did not affect the main canal (as far as I know). Cheers, Pete. __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk |
