Bream?

Can't seem to get this in the freshwater section, sorry guys.


Hi there, First post from me

Did a fair bit if sea fishing in my youth, and recently got the freshwater bug. Have ben fishing a small lake just outside N.London and have had a few small carp, perch and I think bream, hence the post.

Could anyone tell me whether these are both the same breed, as the colours seem very different, both being caught in the same spot. Strange red marking on the first fish, looks like blood, but was actually colour of fish.

Both look like bronze bream to me
