tat is on a distinguished road
Late report

Woodlands 22/07/08
My first time at a commercial carp water, lad at work arranged the trip,so I thought "in for a penny"
Meeting time supposed to be 7.45 - 8.00am,actually 8.30-8.45 so wasted almost an hour with a 10 minute walk to the pond,1 of loads.Started fishing about 9.15 ish straight into a headwind that blew chairs over if you werent sitting on them, pegs were drawn so I got one of the short straws.Stayed on that side of the pond for about 21/2 hours with one bite on the feeder for one mirror of about 4lbs.

got really peed when those on the other side were in t-shirts and not a rod tip getting blown about so swapped sides, best decision of the day.
Within 10 minutes of doing exactly what the lad in the tackle shop told me,regarding bait I had a hard fighting 5lb 2oz Leather in

and they kept coming about every 15-20 mins.I got sick and put a float on for some silver fish and ended up with 3 silver bream, not big.

I realised how hungry I was,cos it was about 3 and I hadnt eaten or drank anything i was having that much fun.Changed back over to feeder and had more fon with a common to about 5lb,

then my last 2 mirrors were 7lb 4 and 8lb 6 the lad who organised has got the pics of them. All in all a good day, though I couldnt fish that type of water week inweek out cos I think I'd get bored of the same thing.Highly recommend it for fun tho'.
Biggest fish of the day was 21lb 5 caught on the pole with meat bait.
Taken by surprise tho' at 4.15 when I looked up and all the lads were stood behind me tackled down and going home, there was still hours of daylight left.Had to go tho' my lift was among them.
