| bad news for local loch some of you might have seen my picture with various perch , and me rambling on about catching tench and the locally well known big pike. this is from my local loch [ Larbert Loch] i knew there was a new hospital getting built near by which is hard to miss ,but there planning to cut down the rodedendrums which form a ring round the loch which keeps it enclosed , peacefull, its like a wall from the modern world thats a stones throw away ......... but its all in the name of design , what they think will look better for there landscaping ........ this is the 2nd area which will be detroyed in 3 miles of each other , the other fishing area was CROWNEST PARK (THE LIDO) which is in the process off being remodeled , the drained the pond with no concern for the roach etc that was in there and the pond life , ![]() [above] showing the pond on the top right . [below] pictures of the place "at the moment" ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() i know this is a bit of a rant and probably but im so pissed off with re generating the area , its just eating into the last remaining niceties of my local area. why dont they just flatten the crappy buildings and build new 1s on top !!!! [below] the other small pond that has been filled in for an asda ![]() ![]() __________________ No matter how much you give a homeless person for tea... you never get that tea. |

| Re: bad news for local loch hello, I agree with you they are ruining the whole area. If they would just leave the rodedendrums it would not be half as bad but if they removed those it would be destroyed. ![]() __________________ WACCOE-MARCHING ON TOGETHER-WACCOE |
