bitter sweet darkside

well got all my gear, nifty little mx2 alarms, nice defender bivvy
spanking luxery unhooking mat, shimano rods reels etc!
so headed off to the darkside to give it all a work out!
wat better place than the pond i cut my teeth on, passes pond
well slow start in all 2 big skimmers on pellet and a thumping little 5lb
common and a 3lb tench that showed some spirit,
the day slowed down some wat so started messing about with bait and presentation and rig.
hit the spot with peperami topped off with
a bit of rubber corn over a bag of 8mm halibut pellets, bingo 3 doubles biggest nudging 19lb
great start, only downer is all ther mouths were wrecked!
no lips just wrecked and healed up! pretty sad so
took the edge off it a bit!
decided gana steer clear of runs water and try to get my self into
a syndicate,
anyway happy days

cheers lads! looks like a flyng start but it is a bit of a runs water.
one thing i got out of it was faith in plastc corn and hair rigs.
all gana be a bit dounting tho when and if i can get on a propper water i recon. got a mate thats gana show me the ropes with marker and spod
on his lake, so could be intresting
ive found im fine at casting in a straight line just the distance i have a problem with, 10 yards or a 100yards ! all good now ask me to hit 40 yards
and im gone! the truith is i can only hit 10 yards or a 100 yards no inbetween with any accuracy lol!
