Two Nice 4lb+ Tench

First Fishing report Guys

Sort of excited

Anyway, went to a syndicate water tonight in Long eaton which is close to where i Live. Took a couple of tins of sweetcorn, Pint of maggots and half of casters.
Also Hemp. Whole lot together in a pole pot but a nice bed of feed onn the bottom near a snag. All day long i had a little mr Jack Piike Splashing under my duckboard but i battled On!

Fished the pole at around 8 metres next to this snag. A couple of nice hand sized roach and rudd came singe grain of sweet corn.



Then, One after the Other, These two tench came, Bot scaling over 4lb




Overall, a great night, with a couple of lovely fish.

Heres the Pictures of the two Tench



Both fell to a maggot and sweetcorn cocktail next to the baited snag.
Both sail away bites which had the number 8 elastic stretching before i even had chance to grip the pole

Bottom fish weighed in at 4lb 13oz and the top one 4lb 3oz 4 dr respectivley.

Well done Michael, some lovely looking tench....I just recently caught my first fish on the pole and it was great fun....can't wait to get my first tench on the pole, as they give a good fight.
