A No Fish Day Again

A no show again for me as i left with my friend for a location that has never let me down badly it was an on and off day Rainy then Sunshine Very Busy with other Anglers along the way .So I set off past the usual scenery....

And These Pictures are that





gets boring after a while though

we walked for around 3 miles and reached my favourite Location
Situated above and over the almond aqueduct .I usually go down below to fish the River Almond but due to the rain it was unfishable and extremely dangerous i would have been 20 miles down to sea if i fell in

on a nice day here it is Union Canal Above and River Almond Below

But anyway......

I was using a 5lb mainline size 16 hooks and baits were Sweetcorn and Bread with a small float

2 hours of showers passed and we packed up and headed back along the way the other anglers had no luck either.To finish the day i used a small silver droppen spinner at the location below it was unlucky and hopefully better luck next time

Never mind mate, we all suffer from blanks, it just makes the catching a little sweeter, Don't give use a blank as a learning curve. and there is always next time.
