| So the Great Ruffe hunt begins Banana Steve and I, ( and possibly Richard ) are planning to go to the Kennet and Avon canal near Devizes on Saturday in search of some simple silver fish hunting. I am personally going to hunt that most elusive and shy species The Ruffe So wish us luck, many have hunted the Ruffe, not all have returned!! ( they may be stuck in the lovely little pub not far from my hunting grounds) __________________ Life is understood looking backwards, but it must be lived forwards.     |

Have you really never gaught one!? I'm always catching them when perch fishing! Anyone know the british record weight for a Ruffe!? A mate of mine had one about 4 or 5 inch long once! It put up one hell of a scrap on light tackle!! |
