I'm not from the direct area, but it's only 45 minutes down the road, which is virtually nothing for me. I'm near Grimsby/Louth if it helps :)

well i know this great place which not many people fish. full of great fish with tonnes of tench and some 6lb plus chub. the carp lakes record is 31lb so there great lakes if u wanna go sometime.

I'd be happy to have a crack, nothing wrong with trying a new pond, what's the place called? (If I can track down how far away it is I can see about arrangements to come sometime etc)

well the place is completly unpublicised but its great cos its never what id call busy. theres some great fish in there and the guy who owns its a good person.

boilies, groundbait and barbed hooks are banned but the best baits are corn(tench, crucians,bream) tares (large roach,rudd)worm and maggot(crucians,tench,perch,chub)bread(everything minus perch)meat(perch,tench,bream,roach) but its generaly a good lake. so ill pm you if im going some day and anybody who wants to go

I'll have a chat with the parents (they are the givers of transport you see), and I'll see if any of my mates fancy it etc, if possible, could you get me some details about the place - location/directions, prices of tickets and the like, would help if I could tell the parents what it'll cost :)

Also, do you mean the 20th or the 13th, as I go away to Fuerta Ventura on the 19th of October, so obviously, that weekend I would be away!

5 quid for the day and ill give you the directions and stuff when we arrange a day thatd suit us both. the lakes are a 10 min bike ride with all me gear so id get there as early as poss but it can be sorted out anyway.this weekend coming cant do, the weekend after cant do and the weekend after and beyond i have nothing planned. also theres a good stretch of the trent nearby so if u wanna go at the barbel aswell
