Thumbs up Bury Hill 21st July

Hi Guys,

Sorry, bit of a late report....

I fished Bury Hill last Saturday and caught a nice carp close in, near side to some pads on a popped up fruit bollie over small pellet. I lost a second fish which felt larger after It went on an unstoppable run across the lake into, through and out the other side of the larger lilys pads to my left. .

It was a fairly nice day but will many amusing heavy down pores. My new fox oval umbrella bivy did its jobs nicely . I felt sorry for a few of the anglers around me without any protection as they got totally drenched! BBC weather forcast wrong again

James

Excellent stuff James and a nice fish. My PB is from Bury Hill and it's my local lake, I live only 2 miles away! Looks like you were on pegs 60+ there

Re: Bury Hill 21st July

Thanks guys. It was a nice fish, quite long and lean. Shame i left my scales at home but I think it managed to get into double figures.

I've caught LOTS of bream there and not by design either! Well done on the fish, I find it a hard water at times. Next time you're up this way, PM me and I might be able to join you for a session.
