| Hayling - Inn on the Beach 22/7/7 Heard there were a few Sole about - some caught off the 'Inn a few days ago over LW so decided to give it a bash with Lug ... Fished 2100 - 0000 - Yep - just 3 hours, the weather forecast was clear skies until about 0400 when there would be showers - WRONG - it absolutley chucked it down about 2330 so thought - sans buddy & raincoat in the car - that was it - time to go home ..... as much as I enjoy my fishing my warm bed was just too inviting  The fishing - nothing too special - NO weed at all which was surprising .... First cast with some old rag produced this little beauty - just luv'da smoothies  Around 3-4lb - another stonking classic smoothie rod bending bite & a great fight and this one clearly did not like being out of the water - writhed & thrashed about non stop - back to fight another day ... interestingly this came in on a fine wire size 2 Nordic hook so shows the strength of some hooks !
